Everyday, victims of industrial environments were exposed to asbestos throughout manufacturing, factory work, refineries, power plants, chemical plants, paper mills, plastics production, steel mills, rubber production, etc.

Professional mechanics, "shade tree" mechanics, and hobbyists were exposed to asbestos by repairing or performing brake/clutch/engine work on any kind of motorized vehicles and other heavy equipment.
All craftsmen and tradesmen had heavy asbestos exposure while building or performing maintenance on civilian and military vessels including but not limited to the following jobs: welders, electricians, insulators, shipfitters, steelworkers, painters, etc.

Any railroad worker that was on the train crew, or was in the mechanical or engineering departments has had exposure to Asbestos, including but not limited to the following jobs: trackman, switchman, lineman, carman, repairman, welder mechanic, diesel mechanic, yardmaster and round house worker.

Those who have served our country in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and National Guard were exposed to asbestos in the line of duty and while serving on our military bases, ships, carriers, shipyards, airfields, military housing, etc.
